The Bengals gave up four turnovers in the game that led to 17 points, and yet they somehow had the ball with 2:33 left in the game and a chance to win…

And Jermain Gresham fumbles the ball.  Turnover #5.

I don’t blame Gresham at all.  He played his heart out.  He caught the touchdown pass that gave the Bengals nope.

I blame the following:

1)  Marvin Lewis: For not going for it on 4th and 1 in Indy territory in the third quarter.  We’re 2-6.  Play with some balls.

2)  Carson Palmer: Threw three interceptions.  Not all of them were necessarily his fault.  He actually kept us in the game.

3)  #1 Scapegoat: Terrell Owens.  For not going after a ball that he could’ve at least batted down to prevent an interception.  For having miscommunication with Palmer on the other interception.  And for just giving up at the end of the game and walking around instead of sprinting to the line scrimmage.

Chad Ochocinco: Where have you been this year?  Except for that stupid penalty that negated a touchdown (and he made up for it with a TD catch later), he played unbelievably.

I’m so pissed off right now because the defense the Darling of the NFL Peyton Manning and his soft Colts.  The defense smashed them in the mouth and held them to 146 yards after the first quarter.  The Colts should’ve only had six stupid points in this game, but since we’re the Bengals, we spot them another 17.

And yet we had a chance to win the game.  And we blow it.  We even got a Gift from God and recovered an onside kick plus a 15-yard penalty.  What a GD shame.
