Gear Up For Bengals Football

The Bengals Pass Over Dez Bryant for Jermaine Gresham. The World does not End.

FedEx BCS National Championship Game - Oklahoma v Florida

Well, I guess the Bengals weren’t too high on WR Dez Bryant. They had the opportunity to draft him and they took TE Jermaine Gresham instead. Yeah, we needed a tight end, but TE Chase Coffman is still on the roster and he’s got some talent, even though he didn’t play last year.

I guess the Bengals are just going to assume that they’re not going to sign tight ends Reggie Kelly or JP Foschi and just go with Coffman, Gresham, and (prolong and sad sigh) Daniel “These hands are made for blocking, not catching, Stupid!” Coats.

As I said before, I’m okay with the Gresham pick, but, man, how do you pass up the best receiver in the draft? Of course, Denver did the same thing and drafted Demaryius Thomas over Bryant, and THEN they pull the shocker of the draft by acquiring Tim Tebow. That is a bigger head scratcher than Julia Roberts marrying Lyle Lovett, especially with Jimmy Clausen and Colt McCoy on the board. But, whatever, man. They’re not my team.

MY team, however, picked a good, but not great, tight end, and we passed on a potential star in Dez Bryant. Maybe Cincy would rather have one of the wide receivers that will be in the second round… like Mardy Gilyard or Golden Tate. Ah, the intrigue.

We’ll see what happens on day two.

They should just get rid of the Bengals all together. They are a worthless organization, the fans hate them, they dont make money, they dont win, and they drag down the entire NFL with their history of suck loser. Wipe the Bengals out of the NFL and everybody will be much happier.

I think they should get rid of people who can't formulate an intelligent opinion. Your ideas are as valuable as a retarded monkey's thoughts on calculus. "Their history of suck loser"? How about your history of grammar lessons? Dude, the Bengals may not have the best history of winning or the best fans ever, but you'll never convince me to root for any other team on this planet. Rooting for your hometown team that has been perennially bad takes character and determination It's easy to root for a team that wins all the time. And it's easy to criticize people who like historically bad teams. I'm glad you have time to criticize my choice in bad teams, as I have time to respond to pointless, dumb-ass responses. I have now wasted my life. This is awesome.

I have been hearing the talking heads lauding the Gresham pick all day. We'll see, eh?

Yeah, initially I thought the Bengals made a mistake, but I think Gresham is going to be awesome in the endzone. 6'6" running around with soft hands? Coffman and Greshman should be a grand TE duo for the Bengals. The Bengals, for once, picked the safe prospect, instead of the risky one. This is a good sign. (I hope)

Bryant was the pick here, can't believe that they passed on him. As long as Brat is the offensive coordinator the TE's are blockers, not pass catchers. Bryant is going to make Dallas fans very happy.

Bryant will be a star. We'll be crying about this for years. And worse he has a star on his helmet. There's no doubt the Cowboys are headed to the Superbowl. And its because of us. Oh well.

Bryant could also be the biggest bust in the draft, you never know. Of course, I doubt that. Still, to crown the Cowboys the Super Bowl at this point is premature. There are plenty of wide receivers left in the draft that can make a difference for the Bengals.
