Draft day is kind of a double edged sword for anyone that has been a Bengals fan like me for over 30 years.   There have been great first round picks like Carson Palmer, Johnathan Joseph and Willie Anderson; however, the brain trust of Mike Brown and company has missed more often with guys like David Klingler, Akili Smith and Ki-Jana Carter.  Today they will hopefully have the chance to instantly upgrade the passing offense and draft Ocho Cinco’s eventual replacement.  I know a lot of the national guys are saying that Gresham is the pick at number 21 so I posed this question to my pal John Thornton on Twitter.  

If Dez Bryant and Jermaine Gresham are both available at 21, who do the Bengals pick?  His answer was “Dez trumps all.”  That works for this writer!
